About me
I am a PhD student at ETHZ under the supervision of Professor Marc Burger. I completed my Master's at ETHZ in May 2021, and before that I completed my Bachelor's at EPFL.
My main research interests lie in (higher) Teichmüller-Thurston theory, particularly its compactifications and connections to non-Archimedean geometry; the geometry and dynamics of discrete subgroups of Lie groups; and geometric group theory, especially group actions on non-positively curved spaces such as generalized affine buildings.
I am also interested in all environmental issues and in particular sustainability issues related to mathematics, see Student Sustainability Committee. In addition to organising sustainability events and creating synergies between the various sustainability stakeholders at ETHZ, we are involved in the development of projects to promote a more sustainable campus, education to address emerging societal issues and sustainability careers, see our Vision paper.pdf.
