About me
I am a PhD student at the Seminar for Statistics of ETH Zürich. My supervisor is Sara van de Geer.
There are many important and challenging problems in statistics, data science and machine learning.
Some questions that fascinate me are:
- How many samples are required for logistic regression and other classification algorithms to be reliable?
- How are these numbers affected by high-dimensionality, class imbalance and other parameters?
- Are there easy-to-use practical guidelines, which can be derived from solid theory?
Send me an email, I am curious to hear from you!
